“Alem” Culture and Recreation Center

Alem Cultural and Entertainment is located in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The center was officially opened on May 18, 2012, where the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was attended.

It has 95-metre (312 ft) tall and 17-metre (56 ft) and has six floors, where each of which are 7 metres (23 ft) tall

There is 57-metre (187 ft) diameter cut-glass and white-steel covering on top of the building comprises a Ferris wheel recognized as “Alem”, or “The Universe”. Alem was documented by Guinness World Records as the world's tallest Ferris wheel in a surrounded planetary at the time of the opening ceremony.

The wheel has 47.6 meters (156 ft) height and was built by Fabbri Group over its Giant Wheels brand.
