Dushanbe

Dushanbe is the capital city of Tajikistan, located in Hissor Valley in the south of country. More than 1 million people live in Dushanbe. The city was founded in 1925 on the place of the village called “Dushambe-Bozor” – “Monday bazaar”.

Dushanbe is a clean city with a lot of parks and alleys. The most of the streets in Dushanbe are named after great philosophers, writers and poets. For example, there is an avenue named after Rudaki – founder of Tajik literature. The main objects of business and interest are situated on this avenue.
