Rukh Ordo takes place on a beautiful northern shore of Issyk Kul lake, and is considered to be a spiritual place founded in 2002 in Cholpon Ata resort town. This center is dedicated to four major religions in the world: Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and Buddhism and pursues the idea of interreligious harmony, peace and understanding. The center includes four sanctuaries and a concert hall that is open to allow a view to the lake. At this place you can find also exhibition halls and photo and portrait exhibits that feature nomadic way of life which you can observe during your tour in Kyrgyzstan.
From 2008 the center bears the name after Chingiz Aitmatov, legendary Kyrgyz writer whose works were translated into more than 80 languages of the world. Therefore at the center there are exhibits about his life, as well as plenty of statues inspired by his books and stories. You can rent a car in Bishkek and easily reach Issyk Kul lake, to enjoy the view to the lake.
