Tour 3: From Kashgar to Beijing

Day 1: Torugart – Kashgar
At firdt you will visit the Tash Rabat Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road. It is unique stone Castle from the 14th century that is located at the heart of Tian Shan Mountains. It was made of stone blocks at an elevation of 3 200 m above sea level. The building consists of 31 rooms in the mountain with the walls are 1 m thick. Moreover there you can find underground prison cells that were used to conclude thieves in ancient times. Then you will drive to Kyrgyz-Chinese border. There you will be met by Chinese guide and accompany to Kashgar city. Dinner is in the national restaurant. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Kashgar
Today your destination is Id Kah Mosque that is considered to be the largest Mosque in China. Furthermore this mosque is the most famous one in Xinjiang. Then you will visit the Old Town. You will experience the beauty and history by walking on the streets of Kashgar. You will learn by yourself of what this legendary city was like in the days when the Silk Road was at its peak. The views of this place will mesmerize you. You will be impossible to forget this wonderful city. National dinner will be at 7 p.m. Night will be organized in a hotel.
Day 3: Kashgar – Urumqi – Turpan
Morning flight to Urumqi where you will visit History Museum. Then you will have a drive to famous Turpan region where the mountain basin at an elevation of 30 m (98 ft) above sea level is loacted. But the most interesting part of this place is the lowest point of China at the bottom of dried lake – minus 80 meters above sea level situated. Due to the dry climate it has become the most famous place for grape gardens. This area had become the center of a fertile oasis and an important trade center long time ago. Moreover its location was along the Silk Road, at which time it was between the kingdoms of Korla and Karashahr. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Turpan – Xian
Today you will the Flaming Mountain and after it, one of the most popular and most visited place- the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves. Being one of the most important grotto relics in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, almost for 700 years, it remained the Buddhist center of the Western Regions. Moreover it was built during the Northern and Southern dynasties (386-589). After visiting Emin Minaret you will drive to the Ancient City of Jiaohe. This city once was the capital of the Gushi Kingdom. First it was built in 60 BC to the west of Turpan City. This city has a long history of about 2,300 years that is considered to be the largest and best preserved ancient city anywhere in the world. Then is returning to Urumqi and have a flight to Xian. Night is in a hotel.
Day 5: Xian
Toady you will see the marvel of the China the Terracotta statues. It has great impact among the architectural discoveries of the 20th century. And it happened due to the hundreds of detailed life-size models represent the army that had success in the Warring States Period 2 200 years ago. By the order of the First Emperor Qin the army was created to be buried with him. It was a sign of his fame and for afterlife Qin Shihuang required an after-death army. Then we will drive to Huaquings Hot Springs that is also now as a luxurious palace. You can enjoy your time here for exploring its garden. In the evening Tang Dynasty Dance show will wait you. Night is in a hotel.
Day 6: Xian – Beijing
Today your destination is Wild goose Pagodathat is considered to be a holy place for Buddhists. It is a National Key Cultural Relic Preserve that was added to the World Heritage List. Then you will visit bazaar that is located at the Muslim quarter. You will have a chance to take colorful photos of the loud and interesting way of life of the local people. You will be amazed by the colorful tapestry of fabrics, produce, and people selling and buying goods. Then we will walk to see City Wall. In the evening is a flight to Beijing. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Beijing
The Great Wall is the sight that we will start from. It was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987 it is one of the greatest sight of the world. By the its majestic looks that represent the dragon that winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 13,170 miles (21,196 kilometers) from east to west of China. Due to the history of more than 2 000 years some part of it greatly damaged or even disappeared. But even now this place is the best attraction due to its architectural grandeur and historical significance. After it is a city tour in Beijing. Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Beijing
Toady you will visit Forbidden City but its full name is “The Purple Forbidden City”. To enter this palace you needed to have a permit from the emperor. Moreover here have ruled twenty-four emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is considered to be the largest palace complex that covers 74 hectares and encircled by a 52-meter-wide moat and a 10-meter-high wall are more than 8 700 rooms. After it you will visit Summer Palace. Due to the size of the garden and had significant impact for Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, it started to be “The Museum of Royal Gardens”. The purpose of this building was to serve as a royal garden of the imperial family. As time passes it became the main residence of royal members in the end of the Qing Dynasty.
