About Turkmenistan

Have you ever heard of and travelled along Turkmenistan? It's this super cool, hidden gem in Central Asia that doesn't get a lot of visitors. Think vast deserts, ancient Silk Road towns, and a capital city, Ashgabat, that looks like something out of a futuristic movie, all made of shiny white marble while touring!
Turkmenistan is full of surprises. It has tons of natural gas, a unique culture shaped by nomads and centuries of different influences, and some truly amazing sights.
Imagine during the tour a giant crater that's been on fire for years – that's the "Door to Hell"! Then there's Merv, an ancient city so big it was once one of the world's largest, and Kunya-Urgench, another ancient wonder with beautiful mausoleums. And let's not forget Yangykala Canyon, with its colorful rock formations that look just like the Grand Canyon!
Most of Turkmenistan is covered by the Karakum Desert, but there are oases dotted around, and the Caspian Sea stretches along the western border. If you're an adventurous traveler who loves exploring off-the-beaten-path places, the country is definitely worth checking out!
Oh, and don't forget to meet the Akhal-Teke horses – a rare breed that's super important in Turkmen culture.
